Worship

The public worship of Christ’s church is one of the greatest testimonies to the kingdom and presence of God in the world (Psalm 100 & 1 Corinthians 14:24-25). In our worship services we strive to serve God, humbly and acceptably “with reverence and godly fear: for our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:28-29). Therefore, pragmatism and traditions cannot dictate how we approach our glorious God in worship. Rather the God of all grace commands us how to worship Him.

We affirm that these commands include prayers, the reading of scripture, biblical preaching, and singing praise to God without instrumental accompaniment, using the hymn book found in the Bible – the Book of Psalms. For a more thorough explanation of our form of worship, we encourage you to read & study the articles hosted here.
